Guest Post: Pinterest Challenge

I love my job! I work in the Financial Aid Office at the university with 2 other awesome girls! We are no-nonsense, get it done, do it right the first time girls! And we get along great! (ok, enough exclamation points!!)

Lauren, one of the two wonderful girls mentioned above and pictured on the left, made an adorable project from Pinterest - Since the Pinterest Challenge is on again, I thought I would let her post her project here (since she doesn't blog).

So, here's Lauren:

Hi, my name is Lauren - I am a Pinterest addict. But I am now attempting to complete some of the projects I pin. Maybe that helps justify my addiction. Or that's what I keep telling my husband.

I love football. (Another addiction...I may have a problem). This project from Lines Across My Face seemed like the perfect way to "kick-off" the season.

Hobby Lobby had the brown onesie for $4. You will also need one piece of "ivory" felt (3 for $1). Don't forget your 40% off coupon! I also bought ivory colored upholstery thread (you'll need something thick and heavy-duty).

Cut your felt strips. I made mine uneven and differently shaped on purpose. I thought it would add a little character. Lay out your pieces to ensure that you have cut enough strips.

Simply stitch around the pieces, starting with the long vertical piece...I just used a back stitch. Don't worry about making your stitches perfect...again, it'll add character.

Add an adorable baby and a hair bow in your team's colors - mine is Auburn University!
