Super Bowl Silliness

Those of you who know me well will not be surprised at my blogging during the Super Bowl. Sports have always been a passion of mine (Please know that is typed in a sarcastic tone).

And this post is going to be about as random as any of my former posts - I just wanted to share some recent pictures.

Hudson did get in some game-watching with his dad tonight.

Although I didn't really pay attention to the game,  I was all about yummy snacks and an impromptu party...and taking pictures of my son.

One of our snacks included some brownies...as a side note, the easiest way to cut brownies is to let them cool. Then, use a plastic knife. If you try this little trick, I promise it will change your life. And it is a great use for your dorm silverware.

While I held Hudson, I was able to capture some awesome facial expressions...please comment with captions!

And this last one is my favorite!

We were so glad to have his Papaw and Grammy here to visit this weekend (formally known as "Jeremiah's parents"...Once you have kids, your parents seem to visit a little more frequently).

Hudson reserves his special looks for when his Grammy is holding him.

Saturday night, we let the grandparents babysit while we went to a friend's birthday party.

We were glad to celebrate with our missionary friends from Brazil.

You can read about our visit to the Amazon last year here, here, here, here, and here. They are in the states for a year, and we are glad to hang out with them each chance we get.

Hudson continues to grow...we will see his current weight and length this week at his 2 month appointment.  When he was born, he was 3 lbs. 12 oz. and 18 inches long. About 3 weeks ago, he was 5 lbs. 15 oz and 18 inches.  Any guesses as to what his measurements will be this time?

  2. You would be blogging during the super bowl. Makes me think of those mornings that Ardy made us get up and exercise. Fireworks, creepy deer in the woods, just a beginning of those memories!
