Quick Memo Board

Each week, I am meeting with a wonderful group of college age girls for a Bible Study. (Read about my book choice here.) Everybody loves a gift...and so is the case with these girls. Each week, I bring some little gift to give away as a door prize. The winner is determined by a little drawing. They get their name in the bucket one time for coming, one time for bringing their book, one time for bringing their Bible, and one time for doing their book work.  The more involved you are, the greater your chances of winning the prize. Sometimes it's candy, sometimes its a journal, sometimes its some little trinket or accessory.

This week, the lucky winner gets an easy to make memo board.

I love Target - and my favorite part of Target is their clearance sections. It's almost as thrilling as a good yard sale. You never know what you'll find on an end cap with a little orangish/red clearance sticker on it.  After Valentine's day, I scored so many good deals at 90% off! I got some wooden frames that were 50 cents - just because the paper inside had a heart on them. (And they will find a home in my kitchen soon). I also found this adorable little heart frame for 50 cents.

To turn this lovely frame into a memo board, I simply added a sheet of graph paper where a picture would go - or you can add plain paper or scrapbook paper or wrapping paper...the possibilities are endless.

Then, simply write on the glass with a dry erase marker.

You can write out the menu for dinner...

You can write out your memory verse...

Or you could write out your grocery list, a note to your kids...anything!  All for just 50 cents!

  1. Great idea! I love it! I know God has different verses that I need to meditate on at different times. This would be a great way to make it every changing for what I need that day from His word!
