We got God Bless My Boo Boo in the mail several days ago and have probably read it twenty times already. My son had another book by this author (God Bless You and Good Night) that was already a favorite. He could immediately tell that it was by the same author and illustrator.
We love that there are different animals on each page. My son has learned to identify several new animals just from reading this book. The rhyming story is easy to read and entertaining for kids to listen to. The board book format is also perfect for little hands.
I will be looking for other books by this author.
I received this book from Book Look Bloggers in exchange for an honest review.
Jen Turano has done it again. I had read other books by this author and was equally entertained by After a Fashion. It's well written, funny, romantic and a little suspenseful. I love that her writing is a little unpredictable. What a fun read.
I received this book from Bethany Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
Novel Interiors: Living in Enchanted Rooms Inspirited by Literature is a fun coffee-table book for readers. Filled with photographs of beautiful living spaces and quotes from familiar pieces of literature, it's an entertaining way to re-think the decor in your home. The styles in the photos are traditional/classic. Even though that isn't my decor style, I enjoyed thinking of how to incorporate my favorite books into my home.
The book also has little decor tips included, such as guidelines for collecting different dining room chairs, balance, creating the ultimate cozy corner, etc.
I received this book from Blogging for Books in exchange for an honest review.
Blessings for the Morning: Powerful Encouragement to Begin your Day by Susie Larson is a great gift book. This hard back, glossy paged book is filled with beautiful photos and bits of encouragement. Each page contains a verse of scripture and a coinciding blessing. It's the perfect book to hand to a woman needing to be uplifted.
The book is broken into several sections. Blessings for the Morning. Blessings for Specific Needs and Occasions (Holidays, etc).
I received this book from Bethany House in exchange for an honest review.
