Hudson is Two!

I can't believe my boy turned two years old! Even though he loves to tell you he is "five" in a giggly voice...

He was so excited to find his very own picnic table in our living room on the morning of his birthday.

He's been obsessed with our neighbor's table for quite some time.

Eventually this will end up on our back deck - but for now he is thoroughly enjoying it in the living room.

We also put up a swing for him off our deck.

At first, he wasn't too sure about it. But after some coaxing, he loved it!

He loved saying "On your mark...get set....go!"

At his first birthday party (see those pictures here), he wasn't too thrilled with the cake.

But this year, he loved it. I made this chocolate sheet cake - and I would highly recommend the easy and delicious recipe!

We feel so blessed to have this little guy in our family.

And since Nora (or "No-wa" as Hudson says) knows he loves her toes...she decided to poke one through her sleeper for him.

Hudson, we love you and are so proud of you. We love that you love to pray for people and that you get excited to try new things. We pray that you learn to love Jesus more and more each day. We look forward to the next year of adventures with you! Love, Mom and Dad
