While we were visiting family this past weekend, many tornados created a destructive path through southern Tennessee. Friday afternoon, friends were texting and calling, asking if we were ok. Asking if our home suffered any damage.
As we watched news reports online, we realized they were showing damaged areas less than 1/2 mile from our home.
Our neighbors told us that our neighborhood was not hit. In fact, it didn't look like anything other than a thunderstorm had taken place.
As we drove home, we saw the destruction that was just over the hill from our home.
The camp that we worked at was also hit -
We are so blessed. Praise the Lord that He protected our home. And thanks to those of you who checked in on us!
